It’s 15 days until the 1st day of summer  and when the solstice rolls around, it makes me think of fireworks, cherry pie, and gardens. And here in the Midwest, the first day of summer means you have already taken a dip in Lake Michigan or you will be able to very soon. To me, it also means sitting outside in the back yard under the stars with friends, and being on or near the water as much as possible.
