Every once in a while I like to post a couple of photographs that I’ve made of our dog, Woody. The two images above (of the big dog in a little dogs body) were made in the warm, humid and luminous days of last summer. It was back when we were lying around in the grass a lot and soaking up sunshine – back when we were eating fresh tomatoes with salt and pepper right out of the garden and friends were giving us eggplants and other vegetables. Yea, summer

― Henry James
