This work is not framed and matted in any of the usual ways. I felt that these photographs needed to be finished in a way that fit the subject matter – something unusual, but clean and beautiful. So I’m printing the images on very glossy paper, which is then affixed to a material called Dibond.

Dibond is an aluminum composite material composed of two pre-painted sheets of .012″ aluminum with a solid polyethylene core.

The whole things is then topped off with a layer of 1/8″ clear Plexiglas acrylic to make a 1/4″ rigid, laminated photograph. When hung (the print under the acrylic and attached to Dibond) floats away from the wall about an inch or so. It’s an excellent way to display the images, which  are so colorful and firmly rooted in the art and science of polarized light.

With color one obtains an energy that seems to stem from witchcraft.
