“We cast a shadow on something wherever we stand, and it is no good moving from place to place to save things; because the shadow always follows. Choose a place where you won’t do harm – yes, choose a place where you won’t do very much harm, and stand in it for all you are worth, facing the sunshine.”

― E.M. Forster, A Room with a View

  1. Love this poem and love the photos that go with it. Especially the texture you captured in the self portrait with lake bed. Really cool. I think Black and White is such a great medium for photography and you obviously know how to master it. Congratulations!

  2. Your photography is fantastic. I always love black and white (Ansel Adams) and the subjects you chose to highlight Forsters poem are spot on. I really love the texture of the lake bed in the self portrait. Keep sending out more.

  3. What an eye! Stunning variety. What your eyes let me see! And the poetry really fits in your compositions. Keep it coming! You have a gift.
