It’s late August and as the sun chases the moon across the sky, I’m starting to feel that familiar feeling of summer transitioning into autumn.

The light is more dramatic because the sun’s  lower in the sky, and the evenings are a little cooler.

Since we were so late getting the garden in this year, the tomatoes are just now starting to turn red.

But once they fully ripen, I know that everything will be right with the world again and it won’t matter so much that winter’s coming.

“The sun, with all those planets revolving around it and dependent on it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as if it had nothing else in the universe to do.”
