close up – water drops on liquid crystal displays
While having a cup of coffee the other day, I spilled some water on my iPad.
The screen was all white at the time and at full brightness. I thought it looked kind of cool, and when I got back to the studio I put some water drops on the iPad again and made these images with
the Nikon D810, a Zeiss 100 macro lens and some extension tubes.
These images are straight NEF RAW captures and have not been manipulated in Photoshop aside from some basic color and contrast correction.
Before I flatten, downsize, change the color space and save these files out for use on this blog, they are 30″ x 20″ at 240ppi.
