After Halloween this year, instead of cutting up and composting our pumpkin, I left it outside to see what kind of fun stuff would grow on it.
After almost three weeks of sitting in our garage, I brought it inside,
put the squishy decaying, mold covered vegetable on the floor and photographed it.
What looks like snow on an old leathery pumpkin is actually a soft, white, fuzzy mold.
And it didn’t smell nearly as bad as you’d think.
