During my years in the film business, I frequently found myself in very unusual and exotic locations – places I would never had access to if I hadn’t been with a movie crew. So, after awhile, I realized how lucky I was to be in those great locations, and I started bringing my cameras with me to work.
One day a few years ago, I was early to some shoot on Roosevelt Road in Chicago and I decided to explore the neighborhood.
I saw this billboard, walked around the back of it, and made this image with my little Nikon 35Ti that I always carried.
I went by this location the other day and the billboard is long gone.
