Point and shoot flower

I made this image in a half hour, but probably it took me more like 20 minutes.  I lit this white flower with two small  LED flashlights and I handheld my Canon G9 point and shoot. When I use that particular camera I’m exploiting it’s deep almost pinhole camera-like depth of field.  I hand held the G9 while I held the other  flashlight in my other hand. I leaned the second flashlight against a book.

I love using strobe and/or continuous lighting when the need arises,  but it’s very satisfying to be able to hold the camera and light in my hands and make a somewhat  interesting image without any complicated lighting set ups.
