This little red pedestrian bridge is in Cedar, Michigan near where I grew up.
It’s a beautiful, and quiet place and the light was great on the day I was passing through. The warm and windless summer day made the surface of the water look like glass.
Like a lot of photographers and cameramen, I love shooting at magic hour. The light at dusk is often incredibly beautiful and like late evening and predawn, it’s a very seductive time of day to make images.
I shot this on 35mm Fuji Velvia film and then scanned on a Nikon 9000 scanner.
